Smoke testing is conducted when an inspection or survey reveals a flue which is damaged, eroded or incorrectly built. Smoke tests are also conducted as a form of risk assessment to eliminate the possibility of Carbon Monoxide contamination especially when a flue passes through a bedroom. Our engineers conduct this test if there is the remotest chance of risk from Carbon Monoxide. Smoke testing may also identify if there is a good draw on the flue to establish and maintain a fire. Installation bookings are met 99% of the time, we have excellent customer communications and you the customer will always feel comfortable and fully informed. If you do not understand any thing we will take both the time and effort to explain so that nothing is hidden.
